Courses at the Zuiderzee

The map gives an idea of the courses used for the 6 & 8 Metre during the 1928 Olympic sailing event. When the sailors from the 1928 Summer Olympics could return to their venue they would hardly recognize it.

Notes

  1. ^ The 1928 Olympic scoring system was used.
  2. ^ If it is not clear from other sources, it is assumed that the first person mentioned in the crewlist of the officiel report is the helmsmen.
  3. ^ The France yacht was not ready in time to be towed to the starting area. (Nieuwe Rotterdamsche Courant: 06-AUG-1928)
  4. ^ Broken mast
